Subject: Flex-Fuel Vehicles Can Help
Decrease Foreign-Oil Addiction

I own a flex fuel 1999 Ford Ranger Pickup Truck. I didn't
need a "Mandate from Congress" to buy it. The following is a quote from the owner’s manual.
"If your vehicle is not serviced in accordance with
flexible fuel vehicles procedures, damage may occur and your warranty may be
invalidated."
Unfortunately the only flex fuel ethanol available is made
from Corn. Congress has already funded
research to consider cellulosic ethanol from Saw grass and switch grass, but it
is not yet available. You can watch our
President lead a panel discussion on this program.

I took the flex fuel V6 Engine out of my Ranger Pickup
truck and replaced it with an electric motor and 12 Batteries.
If you want foreign oil independence, this is the way to
go.
Plug-in, we have the technology, and the NiMH powered
RAV4EV is the proof. This Battery
Electric vehicle is being driven by hundreds of owner drivers over the last
tent years. Many of these vehicles have
over 100,000 miles on the original batteries.
